Emma Watson's brutal BAFTAS 'dig' at JK Rowling after controversial trans argument

Emma Watson appeared to make a dig at Harry Potter author JK Rowling when she attended the BAFTA Awards last night.

The 31-year-old star, who played Hermione Grainger in the film adaptions of Rowling's best-selling books, was presenting the award for the Best Outstanding British Film at the Royal Albert Hall when she made a sly comment.

Host of the awards Rebel Wilson welcomed the actress to the stage, and said: "Here to present the next award is Emma Watson. She calls herself a feminist, but we all know she’s a witch."
