There was almost a full Spice Girls reunion over the weekend and fans have been left delighted at seeing Emma Bunton, Victoria Beckham, Mel C and Geri Horner back together. The fourpiece were without their fellow bandmate Mel B as they partied the night away, celebrating Ginger Spice's 50th birthday.
Geri's big bash took place at the Oxfordshire home she shares with her husband Christian Horner. The singer had expected together her friends and family together to celebrate her big birthday back in September but she reportedly cancelled her lavish party following news of the Queen's death. And Geri has made no secret of her admiration for the Queen.
But it was finally time to mark the milestone occasion and Geri was pictured with her former bandmates as she enjoyed her big night. She was also captured on camera by David Beckham who recorded the belated birthday girl, his wife Victoria, Emma and Mel C all singing and dancing to their own hit, Say You'll Be There.
Gerie stood out in a sparkling white gown while her superstar guests donned classy little black dresses for the special occasion. "Special celebrating Ginger this weekend and even more special to capture this moment of the girls," David wrote alongside the video which had fans flocking to comment and requesting another world tour.
"A friendship for Life," the former Manchester United and England footballer added in between two red hearts. Meanwhile, fashion designer Victoria took to Instagram to share a stunning photo of herself alongside Emma and Mel.
"Love you @EmmaLeeBunton and @MelanieCMusic," she simply wrote alongside the glam snap as the trio gave their best poses for the camera. Holly Willoughby was quick to reply: "Beautiful girls," while fans admitted they were 'filled with joy' at seeing almost all the girls back together.
But it was Emma in particular who garnered attention as she panicked fans with her handbag for the occasion. That's because her phone didn't appear to fit in the gorgeous bag, which was shaped like a heart with a small holding space on one side and sparkly handle on the other.
@davmcdngh said: "I have anxiety that Emma is going to lose her phone." @mikey.o.robinson wrote; "Jesus Christ tell me Baby Spice’s iPhone 14 survived the night." @fionaruby commented: "The confidence Emma has in that bag protecting her phone.....that's the confidence I need in life." @jillyduncan added: "Am very concerned that Emma’s iPhone is going to fall out of her bag."
Others, however, were wondering why Geri wasn't included. @udtherabbithole said: "Hmmm….It’s Geri’s birthday and she doesn’t get a permanent photo on your wall. Instead photos of you." @beauticute asked: "Where’s Geri?" @emily_a_leslie added: "Isn’t it in aid of Geri’s birthday? Not a mention of her?"
