Anyone who's ever fancied a high-flying career or who would love an opportunity to see more of the world could find just what they are looking for at a recruitment day in Newcastle this July.
International airline Emirates will be holding an open day at at Maldron Hotel in the city centre where it will be on the look-out for potential cabin crew. The event will take place at the hotel in Newgate Street on July 13 and those interested are invited to take along a CV and their photograph.
The Dubai-based airline says the people it is seeking to join its multi-national cabin crew team will be passionate about "delivering simple yet personalised and impeccable hospitality while creating memorable moments for its customers". And they will need a calm head too as, with safety being among its highest priorities, ideal candidates will be those who will be able to lead confidently and take control when it comes to managing aircraft services, security and safety procedures.

All Emirates crew will receive what's described as a world-class learning experience at the airline’s state-of-the-art facility in Dubai. The company operates in more than 130 cities across six continents with a fleet of 200-plus aircraft and is the largest global operator of the Boeing 777 and Airbus A380.
Its team represents around 160 nationalities and besides broad training taking place in Dubai, crews' employment packages will include benefits such as discounts on shopping and leisure activities in the city alongside a tax-free salary, free company-provided accommodation, free transport to and from work, top medical cover and many travel opportunities, plus travel concessions for themselves, families and friends to the airline's destinations.
