Anyone who is looking for their career to take off may be in luck as one of the world's largest airlines is holding a recruitment day in Newcastle.
The United Arab Emirates-based airline currently operates four-times weekly flights from Newcastle International Airport to Dubai (a fifth is set to start from July 1), with flights continuing on from the Middle Eastern hub to destinations around the world. There's no guarantee successful North East applicants will be on the Newcastle-Dubai service though as they'll be based out in the Emirati capital.
The airline is looking for people who have a personality that shines, the ability to adapt to any situation and to make people feel at ease. You'll also need to lead confidently and take control when it comes to managing aircraft services, security and safety procedures.
Those attending should bring an up-to-date CV, in English, and a recent photograph. They must register online via the Emirates Career site before attending the open day, with location and dates throughout the month of June still to be announced.
So far, the company has had in excess of 300,000 applications for cabin crew alone and recruiters are scouring talent in 30 cities across the world.
