Emily Ratajkowski is "still on the rebound" from her ex-husband Sebastian Bear-McClard, despite passionately kissing Harry Styles in Tokyo.
A source has claimed that the pair's hook-up was "impulsive" and said Emily is currently on a "self-soothing" journey.
The 31-year-old model was filmed locking lips with the former One Direction star, 29, in the Japanese capital just months after he split from Emily's pal Olivia Wilde.
Emily has been single since splitting with film producer Sebastian in September last year and has previously been linked to Pete Davidson and Eric Andre.
Speaking about her relationship status, an insider has said: "Emily is still on the rebound from Sebo, she was really in love with him and was hurt by the split. I think she's just self-soothing right now."
They also claimed she has been "stepping on her friends" as the model is reportedly pals with not only Olivia, but Kim Kardashian who dated Pete Davidson for nine months.
"What Emily wants, Emily gets. The Japan trip seemed to be impulsive from what I hear, but they [Harry and Emily] have known each other a while. They haven't just started talking," the insider told The Sun.
The claims come amid reports Emily is "begging for forgiveness" from her friend Olivia after she kissed the filmmaker's ex-boyfriend.
Following Emily and Harry's kiss, an insider told Page Six : "This is a betrayal."
Another source told the publication that Olivia is "staying far away from this and taking the high road." They said she is focusing on her children and her work and "wants nothing to do with this mess".
Olivia and Harry began dating in January 2021 after meeting on the set of psychological thriller Don't Worry Darling.
Their relationship lasted for almost two years, before they decided to "take a break" last November.
Emily and Olivia have been seen spending time with one another and reunited earlier this month at the Vanity Fair Oscar Party.
They had even attended a Harry Styles concert together back in July 2022, when the singer was still in a relationship with Olivia.
A clip shared on TikTok shows the pair standing next to one another in the VIP section as they sang and danced along to the show.
