After four years on Days of Our Lives, Emily O’Brien has bid farewell to the soap opera. The 39-year-old actress confirmed that her last appearance as Theresa was on the episode that aired on Thursday, August 8. Reflecting on her final day on set, O’Brien expressed gratitude for the opportunity she was given, stating that she wasn't initially supposed to be on the show for as long as she was.
O’Brien praised Days of Our Lives for allowing her to portray two distinct characters during her tenure. She mentioned that she never expected to return to daytime television after leaving The Young and the Restless in 2011, making her experience on Days of Our Lives even more special.
