Pack your berets and your emotional baggage because Emily In Paris is officially back for season six!
Netflix just confirmed the renewal of everyone’s favourite chaotic fashion fantasy, and it looks like our girl Emily Cooper (Lily Collins) is about to swap her croissants for calamari, because things might be heading further south… to Greece. Très bon! Or should I say… Opa!
What will Emily in Paris season six be about?
Season five closed with Emily breaking things off with her Italian flame Marcello (Eugenio Franceschini) before being casually invited by her long-time French crush, Gabriel (Lucas Bravo), to join him on a yacht off the Mediterranean. Because of course.

Creator Darren Star played coy about the next season’s destination, but he did tease at a Netflix press conference that, while the show “is never going to permanently leave its home base”, he’d “love to take the audience on a journey somewhere else”.
Translation: we’re getting another European photoshoot masquerading as plot, and we’re absolutely fine with that.

Who is cast in Emily in Paris season six?
Lily Collins will, of course, be back as Chicago’s most accidentally successful marketing exec. Lucas Bravo is expected to return as Gabriel, although I’m not sure the actor is super excited about it. “I don’t know Gabrielle anymore,” Lucas told PEDESTRIAN.TV in 2024 during season four press.
“I don’t understand the choices he makes, this naive approach to relationships and dynamics.
“I was really close to him in season one but now I don’t really understand his choices. I feel like he lacks a bit of instinct in perceiving whats going on around him, so I hope he’s going to wake up.”
Hopefully Lucas is happier with Gabriel’s season five choices and that consistent Netflix pay check he gets to cash.

Other familiar faces that will be returning include Ashley Park’s Mindy Chen, who ended the last season in possibly the messiest love triangle Paris has ever seen — and that’s saying something.
Returning favourites include Philippine Leroy-Beaulieu as the chic as fuck Sylvie, Samuel Arnold and Bruno Gouery as Julien and Luc, and Paul Forman as the newly engaged (or not?) Nicolas de Léon. No word yet on new castmates, though let’s be honest, Emily’s next European fling is likely casting as we speak.

Is there a trailer for Emily in Paris season six?
Not just yet. Netflix hasn’t dropped a trailer or even a teaser, but if the pattern holds, we’ll start seeing sneak peeks toward the end of the year. Until then, here is an edit of my favourite relationship of Emily’s:
When is the release date for Emily in Paris season six?
There’s no official release date yet, but per Netflix’s usual schedule and production cycle, you can safely pencil it in for late 2026. By then, Emily may have learned ten new French words and broken up with another man named after a Michelin star dish.
Is this the final season for Emily in Paris?
Not if Darren Star has anything to do with it. During a 2024 press junket with PEDESTRIAN.TV, the creator laughed when asked how long he plans to keep the Emily train running: “As many [seasons] as they’ll have us!”
So no, this isn’t goodbye — just another passport stamp in Emily’s mounting collection of romantic catastrophes. Love her or loathe her, you can’t deny the show’s pure serotonin.
