Emily Atack's friends are said to fear that she's attracted to the wrong sort of men.
It comes after the actor, 32, opened up recently about the struggles of dating as a celebrity, with her stating that "normal guys" often find it difficult being in the public eye.
The comedian - who is best known for having played Charlotte Hinchcliffe on sitcom the Inbetweeners - hasn't had much luck dating fellow celebrities either.
And it's been reported that her friends are concerned that she's become attracted to "bad boys" - with them instead hoping that she will settle down with someone "nice."
This is according to New! magazine, with a source telling the outlet about the Celebrity Juice star's dating life.
They referred to Emily as "highly intelligent and independent," stating that as a result she would like to find someone who can "challenge her" in the relationship.
"[That's] fair enough but friends are worried that she sometimes takes that a bit too far and goes for a bad boy," the source however added about the situation.

The source said that pals instead want her to get with a "nice, kind, normal, guy." It was suggested that she may be "looking in the wrong places" for a potential partner.
They told the outlet that Emily has experienced "a lot of heartache" in the past and isn't ever short of attention, though suggested that this isn't actually always a good thing.
The source commented about this: "Sometimes men want to know her for all the wrong reasons."
The Mirror approached reps of Emily for comment.
Such comments come after Emily - the daughter of Kate Robbins, 63 - discussed the difficulty in dating as a celebrity on the Plot Twist podcast recently.
She revealed that whilst she likes to date "normal guys who aren't in the public eye," some struggle to deal with the pressure of dating a celebrity, later calling things off.
On the other hand, she described dating a fellow celebrity as being a "f***ing nightmare" as the relationship becomes "a massive thing."
She was linked to Strictly dancer Giovanni Pernice last month following a BRIT Awards afterparty. The pair were said to have enjoyed each other's company at the event and allegedly snogged.
Emily allegedly had a fling with England footballer Jack Grealish, who has been in a relationship with his childhood sweetheart Sasha Attwood for a decade, last year.
Emily remained tight-lipped over the claim, which the footballer appeared to deny.
She has previously been linked to fellow celebrities such as singer Harry Styles, comedian Seann Walsh and Big Brother alum Ziggy Lichman.
