Emily Atack asks for Sunday Brunch crew member's phone number after 'hard' split

Emily Atack seemed to be in a flirty mood during a recent appearance on Channel 4's Sunday Brunch following her recent split.

The Inbetweeners star recently opened up about having a "hard time" after it was claimed she and tree surgeon Liam McGough had gone their separate ways.

However, the star, 32, appeared to be in a much clearer frame of mind as she joined Simon Rimmer and Tim Lovejoy on her "favourite" programme, alongside fellow guests Johnny Vegas, Sian Gibson and Tom Daly.

During her appearance on the family favourite programme, Wirral-born Simon came into difficulty as he attempted to blend some chopped-up avocado.

His trusty crew member Ben rapidly rushed onto the set to save the day, dismantling the appliance before putting it back together – clearly impressing the Celebrity Juice team captain.

The cheeky chap appeared to impress Emily with his casual style, rocking an Adidas tracksuit top and flat cap, with the actress quipping: "Can I have your phone number?"

But while Ben went down a storm with viewers, with several claiming they needed him in their house – Emily also received heaps of praise.

"Emily Atack on Sunday Brunch is looking gorgeous," said another.

While a second typed: "Gotta say Emily looks absolutely stunning today I think."

"Emily Atack looking hot in boots on Sunday Brunch this morning," gushed another.

Just one day before appearing on the show, the comedian hinted that she was struggling after her split from Liam who had previously appeared on Big Brother.

Emily shared the poem, The Orange, by Wendy Cope, alongside a lengthy caption, saying: "Things have been hard lately.

"In more ways than one, for so many people. One thing I've found a great love for is poetry, and when facing some personal struggles of my own, I turn to them, and I remembered this poem today.

"One of my absolute favourites - The Orange by Wendy Cope. It reminds me to appreciate tiny moments of joy when they come my way.

"A day might be made up of a few, or just one or two. Try to look out for them, don't miss them," before finishing with a red love heart emoji.

An insider previously revealed that Emily and Liam had known one another for a while before their friendship eventually blossomed into a romance.

Earlier this month, despite the couple getting "more serious", a source said: "Sadly, they decided they were better off as friends and parted ways a few days ago, but it's all very amicable."
