Arsenal attacking midfielder Emile Smith Rowe concedes he must come up with more assists after falling short of the target Mikel Arteta set him last season.
The playmaker, 21, has enjoyed a rapid rise in recent years, establishing himself as a key cog at the Emirates. He's taken on the mantle of the No 10 shirt and is looking to do it justice, but last term he only came up with two assists as the Gunners missed out in the Premier League top-four race.
Smith Rowe is not assured of starts, such is the quality of Martin Odegaard, Bukayo Saka and several other teammates in the creative positions. The arrival of Fabio Vieira this summer will only make minutes harder to come by, but Arteta made his expectations clear.
