West Ham are close to completing a potential club record move for Lucas Paqueta, and David Moyes' side have already been given an idea of what to expect from the Brazil star.
Paqueta is reportedly set for a medical in east London ahead of a move which could see the Hammers fork out £51m if all add-ons are met. That would surpass the club's current record, the £45m they paid Eintracht Frankfurt to sign Sebastien Haller back in 2019.
The 25-year-old impressed at the London Stadium for Lyon last season, and one of his teammates from that game - former Chelsea loanee Emerson Palmieri - is already at West Ham. Italy left-back Emerson knows as well as most what Paqueta is capable of, and gave his verdict earlier in the summer.
