Dublin Fire Brigade helped out another furry friend in the aftermath of a household fire over the weekend.
Emergency workers extinguished a kitchen blaze in Dun Laoghaire. One person required medical assistance due to the ordeal and was treated by staff.
Dun Laoghaire firefighters also extended their compassion towards a beloved family pet who was at the scene of the blaze. Staff stayed with the dog until the owner was able to take over its care.

Dublin Fire Brigade wrote on Twitter: "Firefighters from Dun Laoghaire fire station responded to a kitchen fire last night. One person was treated by an advanced paramedic at scene and a positive pressure fan was used for ventilation. "
Several photos of the incident, including a sweet snap of the family dog being tended to by emergency workers, were uploaded to social media. The incident appears to have taken place on George's Street Lower in Dun Laoghaire.
This is the second incident in recent days where Dublin Fire Brigade have helped out man's best friend. Emergency workers rescued Millie, a beloved toy breed, from St Anne's Park last week.
The pup had become entrapped in a series of tunnels in the park, requiring intervention to reunite her with her family. Millie's owner publicly thanked the staff for their hard work on social media following the mishap.
