Emergency roadworks on the Queens Drive flyover in Liverpool are complete after running over schedule.
Liverpool Council took to Twitter to confirm that repairs to the road at Breeze Hill in Walton had been finished, more than a week after the proposed date.
Initially, the road had been closed down to a single lane in both directions after a safety inspection found faults in its expansion joints.

A concrete expansion joint is a gap in the surface that allows the concrete to expand and contract as/when the temperature changes.
It forms a break between the concrete and other parts of a structure to allow movement without causing stress, which can lead to cracking.
The local authority said on social media that the lane closure would last a week - that was on 14th January.
It was confirmed this afternoon that the road had fully reopened - 11 days later than had been announced.
Liverpool Council thanked motorists and residents for their patience during the extended road closure.
A tweet from the local authority said: “Repairs to the expansion joints on the Queens Drive flyover at Breeze Hill, in Walton, have been completed.
“The road is now fully reopen in both directions.
“Thanks for your patience and cooperation while these emergency works were carried out.”
