Emergency services were called to Manchester city centre this morning following reports of 'concern for the welfare of a woman'.
Police said officers were called to Auburn Street at around 4.40am. A woman was taken into the care of emergency services.
She is now being 'supported by specialist services', police added. Earlier this morning, emergency services were spotted stationed outside the DoubleTree by Hilton hotel on Auburn Street.

At least three police vans and one ambulance were on the scene. In a statement, a Greater Manchester Police spokesperson said: "At approximately 4:40am, GMP were called to a concerns for welfare of a woman at Auburn Street, Manchester.
"Emergency services attended and she is currently being supported by specialist services."
