A fire has broken out at a Limerick tyre garage this afternoon in Ballyneety.
It’s understood that the blaze started at around 4:30 pm on Tuesday, June 21, and fire services are still working to bring it under control.
Motorists are being advised to expect long delays as both sides of the road are closed on the R512 going through the village with diversions in place.
At this point, it is not known if there are any injuries as a result of the incident.
A spokesperson from An Garda Siochana told the Irish Mirror: "Gardaí and emergency services are currently attending the scene of a fire at a premises in Ballyneety, Co Limerick today 21st June 2022.
"Roads on both sides of the village have been closed. Diversions are in place.
"There are no reports of injuries at this time.
"There is no more information available regarding this incident at this time."
