Emergency services rush to Glasgow's Sauchiehall Street after 'sudden death' of teenager

Emergency services rushed to Sauchiehall Street in Glasgow city centre this afternoon following the 'sudden death' of a teenager.

The incident happened at around 12.50pm with Police Scotland officers attending the scene shortly after. A 19-year-old man was reported to have died at a premises on Sauchiehall Street.

Officers said there were no suspicious circumstances surrounding the incident.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "We received a report of the sudden death of a 19-year-old man at a premises on Sauchiehall Street, Glasgow, around 12.50pm on Wednesday, March 29, 2023.

"There are not believed to be any suspicious circumstances and a report will be sent to the procurator fiscal."
