Emergency services issue update as two hospitalised outside primary school

EMERGENCY services have issued an update following a road collision outside a primary school.

Two vehicles crashed near Redwell Primary School on Stirling Road in Alloa, with two people taken to hospital for further treatment.

The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service attended to make the vehicles safe, while the Scottish Ambulance Service have now provided an update on the injured parties.

A spokesperson for Scottish Ambulance Service said: “We received a call at 07:11 to attend an incident on Stirling Road, Alloa.

“Two ambulances were dispatched to the scene and two patients were transported to Forth Valley Royal Hospital.”

Police Scotland also attended the crash and it is understood the vehicles are still at the site of the incident but will be recovered at a later date.

A spokesperson for Police Scotland added: “Around 7.10am on Wednesday, October 30, we were called to a road crash involving two vehicles on Stirling Road, Alloa.

“Officers attended and the vehicles will be recovered. Enquiries are ongoing.”
