A car smashed through a barrier on a main road in Wigan last night.
The smash - which involved two cars - happened on Ormskirk Road in the Pemberton area at around 9pm. A picture taken at the scene showed a damaged black car which appeared to have crashed through some railings near Ling's Wok Chinese Takeaway.
Debris was left strewn on the road after the incident. Fire crews were called to the scene as well as police officers.

Police said no serious injuries were reported at the scene. No arrests were made.
In a statement, a Greater Manchester Police spokesperson said: "Greater Manchester Police were called to a report of a road traffic collision near to Ormskirk Road in Orrell, Wigan at around 9pm tonight (Thursday 30 November 2022). It is believed it was involving two vehicles and no serious injuries were reported at the scene despite emergency services attending."
