A PASSENGER has died on a flight from Tenerife to Glasgow.
The incident occurred on a TUI flight on December 29, with reports suggesting a woman suffered a cardiac arrest mid-flight and led to an emergency landing at Funchal Airport in Madeira.
Despite the efforts of firefighters and the EMIR (Rapid Intervention Medicalized Team) in Madeira, they were unable to save the passenger.
The flight was scheduled to continue its route into Glasgow at 8:55pm.
