Boris Johnson sang Gloria Gaynor's hit "I Will Survive" to his new communication chief in the meeting where he was hired.
Cardiff-born Guto Harri has been appointed as Prime Minister Boris' Johnson's new director of communications. The role was held by Jack Doyle, who was one of four staff to quit Downing Street on the same day last week.
Mr Harri, whose career you can read about here, was a media strategist to Mr Johnson when he was Mayor of London and a committed Remainer who has criticised the Prime Minister's political style.
