ALEX Cole-Hamilton changed his Twitter/X name amid the US election.
The Scottish Lib Dem leader changed his name on Twitter/X to Alex Cole-Hamala in support of US presidential candidate Kamala Harris.
It comes after the MSP flew out to Pennsylvania for a week-long holiday last month to “knock doors” in the city of Scranton amid the tight battle for the White House between Harris and Republican candidate Donald Trump.

"Just for tonight," Cole-Hamilton wrote whilst highlighting the change.
Social media users, meanwhile, didn't react positively overall.
"It's not about you. I struggle to prove to people I'm a Lib Dem when I see the stuff you've been putting out the past month," said one user.
"How embarrassing," said another.
Cole-Hamilton changed his name back in the early hours of Wednesday as results started to trickle in.
