Emaar Properties Group CEO Amit Jain detained at Indira Gandhi International Airport

CHANDIGARH: Emaar Properties Group CEO of Amit Jain was detained on basis of Punjab police's look-out circular (LOC) at the Indira Gandhi International Airport (IGIA) in Delhi on Friday after he landed on a flight from Dubai. He was later released after the Punjab police withdrew the circular.

The LOC was issued against Jain in the first week of June on the request of the Ropar cops in connection with an FIR against him and two others for criminal breach of trust, cheating, and criminal conspiracy on November 15, 2019, at Ropar City police station on the complaint of Subedar Darshan Singh (Retd) of Ropar.
