Sir Elton John looked fit as a fiddle as he enjoyed a sunny walk with his husband David Furnish.
The Rocket Man singer, 75, sparked concern earlier this year when he was spotted at Leipzig airport in a wheelchair, just days before his virtual performance for the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee.
However, Sir Elton assured fans that he is in 'top health' and that he was 'resting his hip' after a long performance.
Fast forward to August, the musician looked to be the picture of health during a stroll with David in Cannes, France.
The couple showed off their pearly whites as they enjoyed their conversation by the pier.
Both were wearing patterned co-ord ensembles. Of course, Sir Elton added a little more pop to his outfit with a pair of zebra-print sunglasses.
David held onto a Gucci bag while they walked side by side.
Sir Elton even stopped by La Guerite bar in Cannes to surprise patrons with an impromptu performance of his latest track with Britney Spears.
The jam-packed crowd watched on in awe as Elton labelled the tune the follow-up to his hit Cold Heart.
Back in June, the singer had to take to his Instagram to tell fans that he was doing fine after being seen in a wheelchair.
In a post, he said: “I want to thank all my fans for reaching out to ask about my health, after the tabloids ran a silly story about my ‘looking frail’ in a wheelchair.
“The true story is that I’m in top health, loving my shows and playing and singing at my very best."
Elton claimed that there was a simple reason for him using the wheelchair and that it didn’t mean that he was ill.
He went on to explain: “After another rousing 2.5 hour show, we arrived at Leipzig airport just before curfew, to find part of the airport had closed.

“It was an extremely long walk to get to the plane, so my team kindly laid on a wheelchair so I could rest my hip after doing the show. That’s all folks.”
Fans were concerned about Elton’s health as he previously suffered from a hip injury.
In 2021, he had to postpone the rest of his Farewell tour after he “fell awkwardly” and required surgery.
In a statement about the tour, Elton said: "At the end of my summer break I fell awkwardly on a hard surface and have been in considerable pain and discomfort in my hip ever since.
"Despite intensive physio and specialist treatment, the pain has continued to get worse and is leading to increasing difficulties moving."
