
Renowned singer-songwriter Elton John made a special appearance at the opening night of 'The Devil Wears Prada' musical in London, despite his ongoing struggle with vision loss. John, 77, revealed to the audience that due to an infection, he has lost his eyesight, making it challenging for him to watch the performances.
John, who wrote the score for the musical adaptation of the popular 2006 movie, expressed his love for the production, stating that while he may not be able to see it clearly, he thoroughly enjoyed hearing it. The musical, staged at London's Dominion Theatre, features Vanessa Williams in the role of the formidable editor Miranda Priestly, originally portrayed by Meryl Streep in the film.
