Starlink is a satellite internet constellation operated by Elon Musk's SpaceX

SpaceX (NASDAQ:SPCX) President Gwynne Shotwell said on Tuesday’s earnings call that Starlink Mobile will begin service at the end of 2027, and that she expects to acquire “quite a few” customers from AT&T Inc. (NYSE:T), Verizon Communications (NYSE:VZ) and T-Mobile US (NASDAQ:TMUS).

Investors took notice, sending shares of all three carriers lower Wednesday after SpaceX detailed the plan.
