Recently, Elon Musk's pro-Trump super PAC, America PAC, has made headlines for its significant spending in support of the former president's reelection campaign. The super PAC has reported expenditures exceeding $110 million, with a substantial portion allocated to canvassing and field operations in crucial swing states during the final weeks of the race.
America PAC disclosed a new round of independent expenditures, revealing that more than $70 million has been dedicated to canvassing and field operations. The remaining funds have been utilized for digital ads, printing, postage, texting, and phone calls.
Notably, Musk, the world's wealthiest individual, has channeled tens of millions of dollars into the pro-Trump effort. During the third quarter of the year, Musk contributed approximately $75 million to America PAC, serving as the sole donor and fueling the super PAC's substantial spending spree.
In a bold move of support, Musk announced a personal initiative to give away $1 million daily until Election Day to registered voters in battleground states. While this giveaway is not funded by America PAC, it underscores Musk's commitment to leveraging his personal fortune to bolster Trump's candidacy.
America PAC has also engaged in cash giveaways, offering $47 to organizers for each battleground voter who signs a petition in support of the U.S. Constitution. This strategy aims to enhance the group's voter contact list, a critical element of effective field organizing efforts.
