Recently, a political action committee associated with Elon Musk released an ad targeting Vice President Kamala Harris. The 35-second video, posted on Musk's X platform, contains derogatory language and labels Harris as a communist. The narrator in the ad warns viewers about the use of offensive language, including the derogatory term 'c-word,' while describing Harris as a 'tax-hiking, regulation-loving, gun-grabbing communist.'
The ad features images of Harris and an illustration of a cat in a Soviet-style military uniform. Despite not appearing in the PAC's X feed, the video was accessible through a search on the platform. This ad has garnered attention as inflammatory language becomes more prevalent in the final stages of the campaign.
President Trump and his supporters have also engaged in disparaging remarks towards Harris, with Trump previously referring to her as 'mentally impaired.' Additionally, the ad encourages viewers to sign a petition supporting the U.S. Constitution, exclusively targeting battleground state voters. Musk has pledged to donate $1 million daily until Nov. 5 to a battleground state resident who signs the petition, leading to legal action from the district attorney in Philadelphia.
Earlier this year, Musk endorsed Trump and has actively participated in pro-Trump events in Pennsylvania. Both Musk and Trump have referred to Harris as 'Comrade Kamala,' insinuating that she would advocate for socialist policies if elected president.
