On Monday, successful businessman, Elon Musk, made headlines after social media platform Twitter accepted his bid to take over the company. Mr Musk, said to be worth around $219 billion and the 'world's richest man' according to Forbes' magazine, struck a deal to buy the 16-year-old business for roughly $44 billion (£36.2bn).
The 50-year-old businessman is probably widely known for his involvement in various companies, such as being the founder of Paypal, the founder and CEO for SpaceX, as well as the founder of automotive company Tesla, which you can read more about here. Mr Musk married his first wife, Justine Musk, in 2000. They welcomed their first child, a son called Nevada, in 2002, but they sadly lost him to Sudden Infant Death Syndrome at 10 weeks old. Two years later, the couple welcomed baby twins, Griffin and Xavier, followed by triplets - Saxon, Kai and Damian in 2006. The couple would eventually divorce two years later in 2008.
