Over the weekend, Philadelphia was rocked by a series of aggressive street racing incidents that culminated in an illegal street takeover. The events, which occurred at multiple locations in the city, involved large crowds of 50 to 200 vehicles gathering from Saturday night into Sunday morning.
Disturbing videos from the incidents captured cars drifting recklessly, fireworks being set off, and trash fires being ignited. Some clips even showed mobs vandalizing police vehicles, with one particularly alarming scene depicting individuals swarming and stomping on a police cruiser.
