Elon Musk and ex-partner Grimes have welcomed their second baby into the world in secret.
Grimes, whose real name is Claire Elise Boucher, revealed she and the Tesla CEO have a new baby girl after the youngster started crying upstairs during her Vanity Fair interview.
The pair, who are separated, have yet to announce their daughter's name and refer to her simply as 'Y' for now - a fitting nickname given that her older brother is often called X.
Born in December last year via surrogate, the tot arrived just a few months after Canadian singer Grimes and tech mogul Elon ended their three year relationship, according to the Mirror.
The couple welcomed son Æ A-12 in May 2020.
Grimes, 34, whose real name is Claire Boucher, admitted that although she and Elon are no longer officially together, she does think of him as her 'boyfriend' in some ways.
The Canadian singer told Variety Fair that the pair are together in some sort of capacity 'but fluid' as they co-parent their two children together.
“I would probably refer to him as my boyfriend, but we’re very fluid," she told.
"We live in separate houses. We’re best friends. We see each other all the time.
"We just have our own thing going on, and I don’t expect other people to understand it."
Grimes went on to reveal that now is the happiest she has ever been in her life as she settles into life as a mum-of-two.
“This is the best it’s ever been. We just need to be free.”Although Elon and Grimes have a very untraditional relationship, the pair are eager to have even more children together.
Now that the pair are proud parents to son X and daughter Y, they hope to have one or two more youngsters.
Grimes told the outlet that they plan to expand their brood.
"We've always wanted at least three or four," the music star confirmed.
Elon and Grimes split last September after three years.
At the time, tech genius Elon told that the two were co-parenting and were on 'great terms'.
"We are semi-separated but still love each other, see each other frequently and are on great terms,” Elon revealed to Page Six.
"It’s mostly that my work at SpaceX and Tesla requires me to be primarily in Texas or travelling overseas and her work is primarily in LA. She’s staying with me now and Baby X is in the adjacent room."
The pair were last publicly seen together at the Met Gala in 2021.
Grimes appeared on the red carpet alone, but Elon joined her inside.
