Ellis Simms fired his first senior goal for Everton at Chelsea as he labelled the strike the 'moment of his career'.
The former Hearts loanee climbed off the bench for Sean Dyche's men to hit a late leveller at Stamford Bridge for a share of the spoils in what could prove a massive result in their bid for English Premier League survival come the end of the season. His 89th minute strike past Blues No1 Kepa made it 2-2 on the day after latching onto Abdoulaye Doucoure's pass before driving into the box and unleashing his effort.
The result leaves the Toffees 15th in the top flight standings - two points above the relegation places with Tottenham and Manchester United, Champions League football for next season, in the two games following the international break. Reacting to his dream come true moment, the striker told Everton's official website: "It was the moment of my career, so far. It was a great occasion to do it, an equaliser, too.

“I am delighted for the team, as well. It’s a massive point against a tough opponent, we’re delighted.
“Honestly, I can’t put it into words. “I have been working hard to come up with this. It’s a dream come true to score my first Premier League goal.
“It’s been about patience. I’ve had to wait for my chance. Obviously, we have top players, so I am not just going to walk straight into the team. I have to work hard in training and when I get the opportunity, I have to take it with both hands."
Team-mate James Tarkowski added. “[The finish] was unbelievable. I think it is Koulibaly who he goes past, he’s no slow player. But Ellis has shrugged him off and put it away.
“He’s right, he’s been working hard since coming back since Christmas. Got his head down, work hard and those moments are what you live for.”
