Ellie Goulding joins celebs at Wimbledon with wedding ring off after marriage 'separation'

Ellie Goulding was spotted attending Wimbledon today wearing a chic faux leather khaki mini dress, alongside a number of other A-listers at the event.

The Starry Eyed singer accessorised the outfit with a variety of gold and diamond jewellery but one item that was noticeably missing was her £70,000 engagement ring and wedding band.

Ellie, 36, appeared in a great mood as she watched the tennis sat next to a pal, clapping the players on the court.

Wearing a tight dress that showed off her toned arms, the mum-of-one added a pair of oversized sunglasses to finish her look.

Opting for minimal make-up in the heat, the singer added a slick of clear lipgloss and her long honey-blonde hair down in loose waves.

She added a pair of diamond hoop earrings and several other sparkly jewels, including a chunky gold bracelet – however, her engagement and wedding ring were nowhere to be seen.

As she was photographed at the sporting event, Ellie appeared to have replaced her £70,000 vintage ring with a large gold cocktail one instead.

The sighting comes days after it was reported Ellie and art dealer Caspar, 31, are "spending time apart" after their marriage reportedly became strained.

According to sources, their marriage has become under pressure due to hectic schedules but sources believe they could rekindle their romance as they co-parent their son, Arthur.

Neither Ellie nor Caspar have moved out of their family home and they have continued to enjoy holidays together.

"There is no discussion of a divorce and neither of them have been in a new relationship," a source told The Sun, before adding: "The priority is to keep good friends and remain amicable whilst they work out their next steps, so they can stay close and enjoy being mum and dad to Arthur.

"There will always be a lot of love between them despite some difficult times, and they want the best for each other."

The source went on to say that away from their time co-parenting Arthur, they are living separate lives.

Ellie and Caspar revealed they were engaged in the personal announcements section of The Times - the same way Benedict Cumberbatch broke the news after he proposed to Sophie Hunter.

It read: "Mr C.W.F. Jopling and Miss E.J. Goulding.

"The engagement is announced between Caspar, son of The Hon Nicholas Jopling of Yorkshire and Mrs Jayne Warde-Aldam of Yorkshire, and Elena, daughter of Mr Arthur Goulding of Hertfordshire and Mrs Tracey Sumner of West Midlands."

The couple later wed in 2019 in a lavish ceremony attended by royals at York Minster before holding their reception at stately home Castle Howard.

Two years later in 2021, Ellie welcomed the couple's first child Arthur.

Taking to Instagram account to share the happy news, Caspar announced the new arrival via his Stories and told that the new tot and mum are "healthy and happy."

Caspar also shared a picture of a bunch of flowers and wrote: "Mum and baby both healthy and happy :) Extremely grateful."

The art dealer added: "I don't ever address the public attention that comes with Ellie's job, but during this magical and personal moment we would really appreciate being able to enjoy our privacy - Thank you x."

However, just two years on from them welcoming Arthur together, the pair are said to be living separate lives.
