Magical and historic, Moroccan-style bathrooms are filled with characterful details, be it intricate tiling or ornate architecture. While I've long loved the look, when I saw Ellen Pompeo's dreamy hammam-inspired spa, I became sure that the style was one worth taking inspiration from.

Ellen's hamam-inspired bathroom is undeniably chic. Featuring arched alcoves and mosaic tiling, it's undoubtedly influenced by Moorish design. The architecture of the space is, of course, impressive, but it's the little details that make the space even more magical and spa-like.
Intricately hammered, this vintage Moroccan bucket is the perfect decorative addition to a bathroom. Fill it with bathing products or some face towels for a stylish and practical arrangement that embraces the historic look.

Martyn incorporates the classic Moorish arches but keeps the design disciplined, letting Turkish marble envelope the space. She adds, 'For anyone wanting to create this look at home, the key is introducing Moorish forms in some way. If architectural changes aren’t realistic, a Moroccan-style mirror in that signature arch silhouette can create the look. Layering in Moroccan lighting or artisanal mosaics adds to the authenticity. If a more contemporary is your style, then cladding a walk-in shower in continuous natural stone slabs can deliver the same cocooned, sanctuary-like atmosphere without leaning heavily on the Turkish or Moroccan ornamentation.'
