Elle Edwards was shot three times outside the Lighthouse pub in Wallasey on Christmas Eve.
Today a jury has heard from a forensic pathologist, Dr Christopher Johnson, about the injuries suffered by the 26-year-old before she died. The beautician had been outside the pub smoking a cigarette when a gunman opened fire.
Connor Chapman stands trial for the murder of Elle and the attempted murder of two men, Kieran Salkeld and Jake Duffy. Connor Chapman, , 23, of Houghton Road in Woodchurch, denies that he was the shooter.

Today a jury was told that Elle suffered multiple injuries, some from the gunshot wounds and others consistent with falling to the ground and the medical intervention she received after the shooting. There were two gunshot wounds to the head and one on her shoulder.
Dr Johnson said: "There were two gunshot entry wounds to the back of the head area.
"If we start with gunshot number one, it was a typical entry type. The measurement was 1.5cm by 1cm."
He added the second gunshot wound was higher than the first. It measured 0.9 x 1cm with the abrasion or graze around the wound.
The court heard also heard details on the third gunshot wound. Before Dr Johnson added: "Her coat had gunshot damage to it in that area….it really just grazed the right shoulder. So three bullets struck the deceased."
Reading his conclusions, Dr Johnson said: "Elle collapsed immediately suffering gunshot wounds, several other individuals nearby also suffered gunshot trauma. Examination of the deceased’s coat revealed gunshot defects through the back of the left side of the collar, and I have already mentioned the linked defects to the right shoulder area."
Dr Johnson was asked if such injuries would have caused a "quick" death. Dr Johnson said "it would" and confirmed that it would have been a "unrecoverable situation."
