Connor Chapman will learn his sentence today for the murder of Elle Edwards and attempted murder of two others.
Elle was shot twice in the back of the head and once in the shoulder while outside the Lighthouse pub in Wallasey Village on Christmas Eve last year. Gunman, Connor Chapman, 23, fired a total of 12 shots from a Skorpion sub-machine gun at a group of people stood by the front entrance of the pub.
On Thursday, July 6, after a three and a half week trial at Liverpool Crown Court, a jury found Chapman unanimously guilty of the murder of the 26-year-old, attempted murder of Mr Salkeld and Mr Duffy, wounding with intent of Mr Loughran and Mr Carr, assault occasioning actual bodily harm of Mr Speed, and possession of a firearm and ammunition with intent to endanger life.
