Elle Edwards murder detectives say they are aware of a video circulating on social media showing an attack believed to have taken place before the shooting on Christmas Eve.
The footage, seemingly recorded on a doorbell camera, shows two men jump from a car and chase a man into the front yard area of a house. The two men corner the victim and rain down multiple punches and kicks, as a woman screams at them to stop.
The footage ends with a short clip of a man seemingly taking a selfie video of injuries to his face.

It is unclear from the footage where or exactly when the incident took place, although it is believed to have happened a number of days before Elle was shot dead.
Merseyside Police are aware of the footage but would not comment on any alleged connections between the violent incident and the shooting. A spokesman said: "We are pursuing a number of active lines of enquiry".
Elle, 26, was hit in the head after a gunman unleashed a volley of shots towards a crowded area at the front of the Lighthouse Inn in Wallasey Village, shortly before midnight on Christmas Eve.
Detectives believe Elle was not the intended target of the shooting, but said they cannot comment further on any potential motives. Four men, aged between 22 and 33, were also wounded in the attack, including a 28-year-old man from Beechwood who was left in a critical condition.
The other three men shot have since been discharged from hospital.
Today Elle's heartbroken dad, photographer Tim Edwards, sat beside senior investigating officer Detective Superintendent Sue Coombs at Merseyside Police press conference. DS Coombs read a family statement on his behalf, describing the horrific loss of "beautiful" and "special" Elle.
She said: "She was only just getting started. Christmas and our family will never be the same again without her. She was the glue that held this big family together, from all of us.
"We will love and miss her forever. Our Elle May, the most beautiful and bright star out there, forever and always."
DS Coombs also appealed for any information which may assist her investigation team, but particularly on the location of the murder weapon and a black Mercedes car believed to have been used in the shooting.
She said: "There's a big investigation team working on this literally round the clock. We have made loads of progress, we have spoken to a large number of witnesses, we have gone through a lot of CCTV and we are looking at a number of lines of enquiry. It's a very active and fast moving investigation.
"What I would particularly ask people about is if they have any information on this black Mercedes that's involved in this offence. It was in the Lighthouse Public House on the night of the shooting. Any information about where it's come from or where it's gone since is vital to us. Equally, there's ballistics work ongoing, any information on this weapon, its current whereabouts, or its ownership is exceptionally important to us, please contact us."
So far three people have been arrested in connection with her murder, including a 30-year-old man from Tranmere on suspicion of murder and attempted murder. He was today (Friday) released under investigation but also recalled to prison for breaching the terms of his licence.
A 19-year-old woman from Rock Ferry, arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to murder, was also released on bail while a 31-year-old man from Tranmere, arrested for the same alleged offence, remains in custody for questioning.
