The emotional dad of Elle Edwards returned the scene of his daughter's death to read a sea of floral tributes.
Elle, 26, had been dancing with friends minutes before she was shot in the head at around 11.50pm on Christmas Eve. Elle was not the intended target of the shooting. Deputy Chief Constable Ian Critchley, of Merseyside Police, vowed to get justice for Elle, but revealed the force has not yet found the murder weapon.
Today (December 28) Tim Edwards returned to the sealed-off Lighthouse Pub in Wallasey Village with his son and daughter-in-law to view the sea of floral tributes left by friends, family and people living in the area. Pictures show him reading a number of cards attached to flowers.

On Boxing Day Tim left a bouquet of flowers with a card reading: "To my beautiful Elle, you are the light of my life. You will never be gone, Mum and Dad xxxx."
A heart shaped plaque was also placed, alongside photographs of the 26-year-old, which read: "Special daughter, the happiness you brought, in your own special way, will be remembered with love each and everyday."
A man who is a regular at The Lighthouse and was in the pub on Christmas Eve spoke to the Daily Mirro r and said he felt the atmosphere become "tense" when "gang members from outside the area turned up".
He said: “The lads involved are not from this area that’s why a lot of the locals left about 8pm because they could feel the tension. We are regulars here.
"My daughter would have normally come here Christmas Eve but because of the atmosphere and the gangs that were in there who are not from this area - that’s why my daughter’s friends left the pub. Lucky that they did.”
Police continue to question a 30-year-old man arrested on suspicion of murder and a 19-year-old woman arrested on charges of conspiracy to murder.
Merseyside Police is appealing for any dashcam, CCTV or mobile phone footage from anyone who lives, works or was in the area of Wallasey Village on Christmas Eve. If you saw, heard, have any images or videos or know anything, people are being asked to DM @MerPolCC or contact @CrimestoppersUK anonymously on 0800 555 111 quoting reference 22000948723.
