A key part of Leeds United's future plans is to upgrade and expand Elland Road. The stadium is old and tired these days but you would be hard pressed to find a Leeds United fan who would suggest that Leeds should knock it down and start again, or move to another site entirely, as West Ham, Tottenham and Arsenal have done.
Elland Road has a certain charm to it that isn't found in glitzy modern stadiums. The compact nature of the stands contribute massively to atmosphere which Whites fans would argue is the best in the country.
Over the years, Leeds fans have travelled up and down the country supporting the team, with the club's financial troubles and subsequent relegations taking them to the depths of League One. That division saw Leeds play in a number of stadiums fans wouldn't have imagined watching their team play a league fixture in, but did provide some memorable moments, such as Jonny Howson's brace at Carlisle to take Leeds to the final of the play-offs.

On the other hand, there have been several grounds which have provided scenes of unhappy moments. For example, Whites fans will not miss Brentford's Griffin Park, a ground Leeds failed to win at throughout their EFL stay.
