Elizabeth Hurley has spoken of her sorrow following the death of her ex Shane Warne.
The Hollywood actress and model described the cricket legend as her 'beloved Lionheart' in a heartbreaking tribute. The Australia spinner, one of the highest ever wicket takers in cricket, died after a suspected heart attack on Friday while on holiday in Koh Samui, Thailand. He was 52.
Sharing a photo of them together on Instagram The Royals actress wrote: “I feel like the sun has gone behind a cloud forever. RIP my beloved Lionheart @shanewarne23.”
She shared a series of old photos of happy times together during their romance.
The couple dated from 2010 to 2013 and were engaged to be married from 2011. One snap showed the couple kissing on a beach.
Another showed the sporting icon, who in June 1993 delivered the Ball of the Century on the second day of the first Test of the 1993 Ashes series at Old Trafford, cradling a baby lamb while Hurley made a kissing face.
Other snaps showed them gazing into each other’s eyes during a romantic stroll and the pair holding hands as she supported him at a cricket game.

Damian Hurley, Elizabeth's son with the late businessman Steve Bing, also posted an emotional tribute to his 'father figure.'
"I’m still trying to wrap my head around this… SW was a father figure to me for most of my formative years and was truly one the best men I’ve ever known. My heart is broken. Thinking of and sending love to all SW’s family," he wrote.
In a statement Shane's management said: “It is with great sadness we advise that Shane Keith Warne passed away of a suspected heart attack in Koh Samui, Thailand today, Friday 4 March."
The statement added: “Shane was found unresponsive in his villa and despite the best efforts of medical staff, he could not be revived.
“The family requests privacy at this time and will provide further details in due course.”
