On April 4 at 5 p.m. PT, Meta, in collaboration with Eli Roth, Crypt TV, and ShinAwiL, will debut their groundbreaking VR episodic series, 'The Faceless Lady,' on Meta Horizon Worlds. This marks the first live-action VR series, set to premiere in stereoscopic (3D) format, consisting of six episodes with a weekly release schedule following the premiere.
'The Faceless Lady' promises to deliver a unique horror experience, with its storyline drawing inspiration from 17th-century Irish folklore surrounding Lady Margaret Hodnett, a ghost said to haunt Cork's Belvelly Castle by appearing through mirrors and reflective surfaces. The modern adaptation of this tale introduces a supernatural twist, following three couples invited to a medieval castle in Ireland for a weekend competition where they must navigate Lady Margaret's deadly games.
