Electricity credit Ireland: Exact date €200 energy rebate will be paid, who gets it and how to apply

Electricity Ireland Residential Tenancies Board RTB

Every household in Ireland is set to get €600 off their electricity bills in the coming months in a bid to help with the cost of living crisis.

The payments will be made in three instalments of €200 each, with the first set to come in before Christmas, another in January and the final one in March.

Earlier this week, the Cabinet approved plans for the energy rebate which was first announced in Budget 2023.
