Electrician who killed his partner then blew up their Stoke Newington home jailed for life

A man who stabbed his partner to death in a frenzied rage then blew up their north London home in a gas explosion has been jailed for life.

Clifton George, 45, was sentenced at Snaresbrook Crown Court on Tuesday to life with a minimum term of 23 years for the murder of 46-year-old Annabel Rook.
