Rory McIlroy managed to keep his DP World Tour Championship hopes alive with a blistering day two finish.
The world number one hopes to cap off a great year with the DP World Tour title but is still some seven shots adrift of the leaders.
The Northern Ireland man struggled for much of the round as he couldn't get any consistent form going.
And with two bogeys on eight and 15 cancelling out a couple of birdies, McIlroy produced a sensational finish to burst up the leader board.
The FedEx Cup winner secured birdies on 16 and 17 and a stunning eagle three on 18 to leave him on five under par for the tournament.
And with many permutations, McIlroy will be looking to chase the leaders to top the Race to Dubai standings.
Shane Lowry is also in the field and sits at one under par and in a tie for 24th.
US Open Champion Matt Fitzpatrick currently sits a tie for first alongside fellow Englishman Tyrrell Hatton with Jon Rahm in a tie for fifth.
