Srinagar: The National Conference-Congress alliance is set to form the government as the alliance is leading on 48 seats in 90-member Jammu and Kashmir assembly, as per the Election Commission of India data.
BJP has won 6 seats and leading in other 23 seats.

The assembly polls for the 90 seats were held in three phases between September 18 and October 1 after a gap of 10 years.
NC candidates--Nazir Ahmad Khan Gurez (ST), Salama Sagar (Hazratbal) and Tanvir Sadiq (Zadibal)- have won their respective seats, as per the EC data.
Meanwhile, Congress has leading on 6 seats.

National Conference (NC) and Congress stitched a pre-poll alliance while the People's Democratic Party (PDP) and the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) contested the polls seperately.
In 90-member assembly, 46 is majority mark to form the government.
