An elderly woman has died after a crash in Sale.
Emergency services were scrambled to Brooklands Station Approach on Friday afternoon (July 8) following a collision involving one car. An 82-year-old woman was rushed to hospital but died on Saturday.
Greater Manchester Police (GMP) do not believe that anyone else was involved but an investigation is underway. A GMP spokesman said: "Just before 4.15pm on Friday, officers were called to a report of a road traffic collision involving one vehicle on Brooklands Station Approach in Sale.
"Emergency services attended and a 82-year-old woman was taken to hospital. Sadly, she died in hospital yesterday (9 July 2022) and an investigation continues."

Detective Sergeant Marie Eldred, from GMP’s Serious Collision Investigation Unit, added: “This was a tragic incident that have left a family understandably devastated, our officers are continuing with enquiries.
"At this time, we don’t believe anyone else was involved. However, anyone with information or anyone with dashcam footage is asked to report it."
