The Dogs Trust centre in West Lothian has appealed to help find one of their more elderly residents their forever home.
Currently being cared for at a foster home in the area, 11-year-old Neena is searching for a new family who can take her on as soon as possible.
An adorable Jack Russell terrier, the pooch has been described as a "sweet girl", who is looking for an adult only home that she can relax and "take naps" in.

More comfortable around women, staff explained that Neena is desperate to find somewhere she can enjoy her older years, and have urged anyone who may be able to take her to get in touch.
Speaking online, Dogs Trust said: "Neena is currently in the care of one of our foster carers where she is receiving lots of TLC. Neena's new owners may need to come visit her at the centre multiple times to get to know her and for her to get to know them. Neena's favourite treat is chicken and she loves her big cosy bed.
"Neena is a sweet girl who enjoys her home comforts, she enjoys the quiet life and going for naps beside her favourite teddy. She can be worried in new situations and can get quite overwhelmed and she feels most comfortable around women.
"Neena is looking for a calm and quiet adult only home where she will be the only pet. At the moment, Neena doesn’t enjoy going out on walks and would like a garden where she can potter around in and have a little zoomie.

"Neena has been getting cared for in a foster home where she is growing in confidence day by day. After she feels comfortable around her new family, Neena will enjoy curling up on the sofa to get lots of belly rubs.
"To help Neena settle in, she would love for her new owners to be around most of the day so that she can form a bond and forever friendship with them."
