One of the best new action RPGs of 2025 across Xbox, PlayStation, and PC was Elden Ring Nightreign — FromSoftware's bold and experimental twist on its 2022 Game of the Year-winning Soulslike that transformed it into a co-op roguelike spinoff. Since launch, it's gotten several substantial updates, including one that added rotating Everdark Sovereign versions of Nightlord bosses and another that introduced a hard mode for the already-challenging title.
We've known a full DLC is coming since release, also — and now, thanks to a new announcement, we finally know what it's called, much of the content included in it, and when exactly you can ride your spectral hawk and return to Limveld to play through it yourself.
