Elden Ring Nightreign director calls the co-op spin-off a "short RPG" for how it condenses the base game into 40-minute rounds

Elden Ring Nightreign was a surprise to almost everyone when it was announced at The Game Awards 2024, but what's even more surprising to anyone that's lost over 100 hours to the base game is that FromSoftware is actually calling this co-op spin-off a "short RPG."

Dark Souls and Bloodborne level designer Junya Ishizaki is in the director's chair for Elden Ring Nightreign, and he revealed a ton of information to Famitsu (with translations from Automaton) about the upcoming three-player game and how it's condensing what FromSoft does best.
