If you’re interested in using spells and sorceries in Elden Ring, then the best place to start is the Meteorite Staff. This staff cannot be upgraded, but that means it also starts with S-rank INT scaling. If you’re an experienced Souls player, you know what this means: this staff will do huge spell damage very early.
Best of all, you can potentially earn this staff early in the game, as long as you’re willing to ride your horse past a few hostile and potentially powerful enemies.
