
Eisenhower National Airport in Wichita, Kansas, where the ill-fated American Airlines regional jet departed Wednesday evening, took swift action to provide support to the families of the victims following the tragic accident.
Upon receiving news of the incident, the airport activated its family incident support team to assist families seeking information and emotional support. Airport director Jesse Romo confirmed that the team of volunteers, along with airline staff and representatives, were on hand to provide assistance to those affected.
